You Are Invited to Fellowship With Us at Our Banquet

2026 Second Baptist Church and

Pastor’s Anniversary Celebration Events

Come celebrate with us on Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, as we mark 36 years of service and dedication by our pastor, Rev. Dr. James Henry Harris, and First Lady Rev. Dr. Demetrius B. Harris! After the COVID-19 Pandemic, it's time to rejoice with a banquet!

We are celebrating this year Pastor Harris, First Lady and our 180-year-old congregation with the theme: “Christ and the Church in the Power of the Spirit,” Luke 4:18-19.

Tickets are ready and available for purchase. Just scan the QR code on the flyer at right.

We'll be at Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia, where Dr. Harris teaches preaching. Meet us at Virginia Union University’s Living and Learning Center, 1813 Bath St, Richmond, VA 23220.

It will be a family affair. His brother Rev. Douglas Harris, Associate Minister, Union Grove Baptist Church, South Chesterfield, Virginia, will be the speaker.

Get your ticket and we'll see you there!😊
